Origin Story
I learned this game young. No lessons. No YouTube Golf or AI Swing Analysis. Just a kid following his mom around the course, figuring things out by feel. She was my first teacher, even if neither of us called it that.
Life pulled me away from the game for a long time. When I came back, golf had changed. Endless information. Endless opinions. Everyone telling you how to swing, how to think, how to dress and how to play. I tried to absorb it all, and it only made the game heavier.
During those years away, I’d been studying the ideas of great minds—thinkers who wrote about presence, discipline, clarity, and the strength that comes from letting go. Their work shaped how I lived. But when I returned to golf, I left those lessons behind.
Eventually, something clicked. I didn’t need more information. I needed less. I needed to trust myself, quiet the noise, and play with intention. Once I did, the game opened back up.
Virtuous Golf comes from that shift. Not a brand. Not a performance. A practice.
